Anaesthesia for Cardiothoracic Surgery including Transoesophageal Echocardiography and Cardiopulmonary Bypass. Anaesthesia for Bariatric Surgery

BACKGROUND
Dr Lloyd completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Queensland in 1998. His specialist anaesthetic training was performed throughout South East Queensland with 2 years of additional training in Intensive Care medicine.

Following this, Dr Lloyd commenced as a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2009, undertaking further training in cardiothoracic anaesthesia and perfusion. Dr Lloyd has served as Director of Cardiac Anaesthesia and Perfusion and continues as a part-time Senior Staff Specialist. Together with his private practice, he has regular exposure to a broad range of adult surgery with frequent exposure to high risk and emergency procedures.

OTHER INTERESTS
When not consulting, Dr Lloyd likes spending time with his wife and 2 young children. They like nothing more than getting to a beach, building and destroying sandcastles, and the challenge of ocean paddling.
