BACKGROUND
Dr Corney completed medical school at the University of Queensland in 2008. She began training as an Anaesthetist in 2010 at the Mater Brisbane Hospital, where she developed her interest in obstetrics and gynaecology. After completing the majority of her training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, including airway (ear, nose and throat and maxillofacial) and obstetric and gynaecology fellowships, she began working there as a staff specialist Anaesthetist in 2017.
Dr Corney currently works both in private practice and is a staff specialist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of consulting, Dr Corney enjoys reading cookbooks, cooking, eating and travelling so she can eat new foods.
