BACKGROUND
Dr Rowell completed medical school at the University of Queensland in 2008, graduating with first class honours. She then moved to the Gold Coast to commence her residency and then begin her anaesthetics training. Her training has taken her from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast, from Brisbane to Cairns and back again. Dr Rowell completed a Fellowship in Trauma Anaesthesia at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and is now a Visiting Medical Officer at several major Brisbane Hospitals.

OTHER INTERESTS
Dr Rowell is a mother to four small children and is a passionate home cook, amateur cake artist and lover of historical fiction.
