SPECIAL INTERESTS IN ANAESTHESIA
Anaesthesia for Vascular, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgery.
BACKGROUND
Dr Taylor completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Queensland in 2011 and began training as an anaesthetist in 2015. She achieved her Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2021. During her training she completed a Vascular Anaesthesia Fellowship in 2019 and 2020 at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) where she continues to work as a staff specialist.
Dr Taylor provides a high standard of care to her patients and continually seeks to deliver quality evidence-based practice across a range of surgical subspecialties. She has presented research at local and national meetings on perioperative blood management and point of care ultrasound and she is pursuing further qualifications in transthoracic echocardiogram.
Dr Taylor provides tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care to all of her patients.
OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of consulting, Dr Taylor enjoys getting outdoors with her husband and two children, pilates and running. She has a love of baking and enjoys serving up family recipes to her friends and family.
